Find another off the scrap heap already...Mac Lane showed nothing special, what's all the fuss? Maybe see if Springer's in any kind of shape, pick up a RP or two and send out McClellan to start....I think Hawkesworth's got the potential, as does Boggs. Neither's quite ready for prime time yet....Cincy's got a GM over there that has put together a good team, and they're gonna be tough. Can we afford to get into the Cliff Lee Sweepstakes? Haren would be nice too...

I thought getting swept by the Rockies was brutal.


* Tough series for the Milwaukee Brewers: In losing four straight at home to the San Francisco Giants, the Brewers were outscored 36-7, committed six errors that led to 10 unearned runs, and went 3 for 42 with runners in scoring postion. Yes, the same Milwaukees that split a four-game series at Busch last week.
