I am extending deadline. Half the games have not been played. New deadline is tomorrow night Tuesday July 27 at 11:59 pm. At that time I will levy forfeits and a team will be eliminated.

Wherein lies a lot of the problem...during the week, at least in the summer, I can only get on after 5:30-6pm...but I'm usually on for a while when I get on.

2000 Mets or 2000 Yankees First choice goes to the player who responds first in this forum.

Three franchises have won 5 world series titles each. The Pirates, The Giants and the Reds.
Each of the two teams will select a franchise. Then each member of your team will select one of the 5 world series winners. So your team will have four diferent Reds World Series winning teams (for example). The Team 1 and Team 5 will each play a 7 game series vs Each other. Team one gets the first selection. Please post your 4 teams here by 10:00 pm Thursday Night July 29.
Pitching. You must use a three man rotation and usual starter reliever rules apply. (relievers must have more relief apps than starts)

Since this is the Amazing Race World Series. Records are thrown out. Whoever wins this challenge is the Champion.

But for having the best record Team 1 will have home field  (series will be 2-3-2)

If both teams win two series each, we will have a tie-breaker played on the field.

Match-ups:

BigSteve at Fish
Hoses at Bastan
AlJohn at Todd
CJK at Josh

DEADLINE THURSDAY, AUGUST 5 at 10:00 pm. If a tie-breaker is needed it will be played at THAT Time.
