How important are your bench players? Well … my “I have to take an Angel so I guess this guy Mike Brown will work” from version 1 of this theme turned out to matter.

Game 7 of the WS, tied 1-1 in the bottom of the 8th, Brown goes up to hit for Bret Saberhagen for just his second playoff AB. And hits the series-winning homer.

How about that!

Ugh. Yet another "I don't want this guy but" situation. . .. I'm probably gonna need 150+ IP out of my last SP pick and this guy isn't great but, if possible, it seems to drop off even more after him at least for guys still available to me:

Congrats redcped on the title, your team really dominated the last half of the season. Also congrats to bheid for coming on strong in the playoffs, just coming up a little bit short.

Well, I think I can give up on getting '16 Kershaw in round 25, so I will draft a pretty high quality RP here. His high salary hurts my draft order, so he better be worth it.
