1.  I'm going to assume it's a batting out of order call.   That's the only logical explanation I can come up with.
2.  Has to be a baserunning gaffe.  Maybe a couple of them.

Kids are stupid.  The coaches need to do better.

Would you believe I'm really surprised you didn't get the first one?  Maybe you need more coffee this morning.

1)  Runner on second with two outs.  Pitcher comes in and gets two swinging strikes on the batter.  The catcher drops the second strike, the runner takes off for third and is thrown out to end the inning.  Same batter starts the next inning with a fresh count and swings and misses at the first two pitches.  Four pitches to the same batter, all swinging strikes, yet he's not out and is still batting.

2)  Runner on third with no outs.  Ball four is a passed ball.  Runner on third breaks for home and is thrown out (catcher to pitcher) at the plate.  Meanwhile, the batter who walked takes off for second while the play is being made at home.  He's thrown out (pitcher to SS).  A double play on a walk.  Never saw that before.

I don't drink coffee.  But, yeah, a baserunner ending the inning should have occurred to me.

when a guy who is not 27 yet is injured big time (worthy of a 60 day dl stint), do his projections stay the same as before and just his current ratings take a hit?

I worked three jobs for about 6 months(9-5 regular job M-F, janitor job every day for 60-90 minutes and 7 days a week at a convenience store 11 PM - 7 AM) a long time ago.  I slept about 3 hours a day and lived on coffee/Nodoz.  Lost any desire for coffee after that.

It's not perfect typing skills.  It's proof-reading before hitting send.    Americans, in the general sense, are lazy.    People say "It's just a message board."  Which it obviously is but we, as a people, say "just a...." far too often.   It's just an excuse for laziness.
