Welcome back habsfan! We need one more, then can start the franchise draft almost immediately. Owners taking second franchises (tycobb32, eman7400, The Taint and me) will pick in the last four spots; I'll go 24th. Owners who were not in season 14 will be inserted in randomly drawn draft spots. Returning owners will go in reverse order from Season 15.

Changes for Season 15
I believe I italicized most of these on the first page. If I missed some, please let me know.

In an effort balance the franchises' abilities to make playoffs, I have put in several small changes in goals (italicized in the first post). Summarized, they are:
• R.I. Slammers AAA player with 16 HR (from 20)
• Chicago/Boston top 6 in live games (from 5)
• Chicago win or split series with St. Louis (from just win, to match Bos/NY goal)
• Louisville top 4 in live games (from 3)
• Philadelphia 5 P with 150+IP and ERA under 4.50 (add ERA limit)
• Dallas MIF 20+HR or 120+ RBI (so it's feasible to use someone other than Ripken, Kent, A-Rod, Banks and Sandberg); added rule that MIF must play 90% of innings at 2B OR SS.
• Clarified min. IP (180) for 2 SP with ERA under 4.00
• Atlanta must be in top 5 in team runs scored
• Portland must have 1 hitter with 40 HR

Thanks Taint, I may do that. If I do, my second team will be the last franchise standing. The past few seasons have made clear that every team has a chance here, with Cleveland (in the playoffs for the second time in the past 3 or 4 seasons) and Los Angeles both advancing to the LCS in Season 14. Between that and some modifications to the goals of the most-popular teams, along with the continued struggles of the highest-cap franchises to make the playoffs, this should be an interesting draft.

Always an interesting league. I've won with Oregon and Sante Fe and lost with the Bombers. So lets fill it up already!

Oh and for sure you should have the first pick.....thats the way its stated in the rules.
