The bad news is... as EasyE ponited out, I got creamed in the 1st round so it will take me a while to build my 2nd roster. Actually I'm getting used to it as I seem to have a penchant for picking the most obvious players, I think I hold the record for 1st round futility at 1 which I achieved in EO25 if memory serves.

The good news (for me anyway) is that there are still plenty of great players to choose from... In any case I will get my roster done as soon as I am able and send it to one of you who have already sent me your 2nd roster (before I open it, natch).

Well, all 5 of my starting pitchers were blacklisted. I guess great [owners'] minds think alike.

Don Sutton was picked by 6 owners this time. Last season, I drafted him in the second round. Sutton was my big winner, so I guess someone noticed him.

I lost all four of my original starting rotation and all four of my planned back-ups, plus some other guys I had in mind. I think I started the second round with about 200 IP. My team already looks significantly different than I had originally intended, so this should be interesting...

Hopefully, the rest of the owners will not select my entire starting pitching staff and my top two relievers this time. (Skunk -- I was down to just 230 IP, all RP.)

I lost 9 because another owner picked them. Until then,I had lost only 4. That gutted my team and I can't put Humpty Dumpty together again.

I was wrong, believeit, I had 3 relievers and 101 IP after round 1...I think the staff I turned in for round 2 is pretty strong, though...

my first roster was decimated, but i came through with an outfield (bernie and cy williams, carlos beltran) and a bullpen (howe, saucier, rob murphy, balfour and bryan harvey). now if i can just get a couple of decent starters on my staff...

It was bad enough in the first round, but it's really depressing seeing my 2nd round picks get knocked off 1-by-1 as each roster comes in... 14 rosters in so far

Balfour had an awesome season as a closer for me in EO 27.
