I'm on record as saying that sometimes owners aren't with choices. If the world is legitimately screwing you, that is one of the options. You'll suffer the consequences but it is an option.
Very revealing ... utter lack of ethics by that poster Miket.

mike, it does surprise me that you'd say that. generally-- and this is a compliment-- your positions are consistent and predictable. i'm surprised you think mass release is ok under any circumstances.

where did mike state he thinks mass release is an OK idea. thats not how that reads.

and i think i found the missing clue...

the #1 pick overall that was being sold for 5 million was drafted by an owner named tatankawya, that's innuit for "to tank away".

I said it's an option. I wouldn't blame a frustrated, legit owner for doing it. I wouldn't let them play in my worlds but I'd have a tough time stringing them up from the nearest tree for it. In short, you've got a group of owners trading freely and restricting you from doing anything. You've already paid your money so they're getting their enjoyment and restricting yours. So what can you do?

1. Abandon the team. Doesn't resolve anything but you're no longer irritated by opening up the screen.
2. Play out the season as best you can. Frustration mounts when you fall a few games short of the playoffs because you can't fill a hole.
3. Report it to ADMIN. We know that they'll look at the situation, post a warning about "fair play" and tell you to leave the world when the season ends.
4. Be confrontational and make the world chat miserable for all. Then you'll get reported and banned for your troubles.
5. Attempt to make the world even more 'tarded up. Since you can't trade your players, what can you do? Release them, sign crappy deals, demote your stars, fatigue and injure your prospects.

I wouldn't do it. I've been tempted but it's not my style. The better way to do it, so ADMIN won't undo the deals and remove you, is to be a little discreet. 1-2 players at a time while keeping your mouth shut. Incorporate all of #5. Then, when the season is ending, go apeshit with #4.

I've said this many times but it bears repeating. Trade approval/veto is the main reason worlds implode. The process has to be consistent. You can't veto one deal and let a similar one go thru. When that happens, somebody is unhappy. Unhappy internet people can't punch you in the face. But they can attempt to ruin your enjoyment of the game.

I appreciate this. I think it's great that WIS stepped in so quick. But can they also make sure that this guy's credit cards aren't used to create aliases? Because it doesn't mean anything to "ban" a person, if he can reappear the next day under an alias.

LOL. Who knew we had an owner fluent in Inuit?

seattleace21 just signed up for a team in Foxx under seattleace admitted in chat he was same person from new guys, so I guess WIS just removed that username

Philly, I have received several sitemails from owners who want your team but admin claims you have not asked to be replaced. Good to know you are as honest are you are intelligent.

It's a flaw in the system. WIS should be able to prevent banned players from coming back under aliases.

he joined Foxx also, just what that world needed
