Thank you for setting that up! When the time comes, are you planning to check rosters through sitemail before we enter
no prob. providing a sitemail acct of your players would be helpful, although ive run plenty of crazy themes where i had to check worse rosters.

Pitchers not eligible from the last 4...just to rehash that

I was really tempted to take Valenzuela, but I think I have to go with the proven commodity (and **** everyone off) by taking P Greg Maddux

Here's hoping there's at least one serviceable GG SS at the end of round two
2/3/2010 11:53 AM
that was a no-brainer.... darnit.
2/3/2010 12:10 PM
With Maddog gone i'll take the next best P Pedro Martinez

After much going back and forth, I decided to grab the one good Vermont player 3B - Larry Gardner

shocked that you didn't go for pitching. It will be scarce later on

I almost did...but then I got to thinking about how it's going to be hard to use all $160M. I didn't want to have to waste my Vermont spot with a cheap guy I'll never use. I'll let the rest of you do that.

Hmm... I don't think we will be able to stay within the rules (22HR, GG SS, etc.) and get within shouting distance of $160M. I imagine that the only way to come close is to dominate with high-quality post-1950 pitching. I expect the draft will eliminate virtually all of those pitchers, so we're with... I dunno, I'm guessing... $100m rosters?
