lol awesome. Knowing my temper, I wouldn't have even lasted that long. I would have been gone before I got out there. lol, such bs to not even know a simple rule.

I was coaching 3rd and making my way to the 1st base dougout. So I got a lot of time in with him on my way. Then just to be funny my brother, who is also the pitching coach sent our littlest kid out to coach 3rd the rest of the game. This kid is so small he had to gain wait this year to be within 15 lbs of 103 to wrestle at that weight.

And I somehow think that the Earl Weaver line may have gone over the umps head.

Agreed. I coach a High School varsity team and it drives me nuts when the umps don't know the rules. The other day we had runners on second and third and hit a sac fly. After our runners moved up, the other team decided to appeal at third base. The team let the umps know they were appealing and the pitcher toed the rubber and then threw to third. He overthrew the third baseman and we sent our guy home from third to score. The umps did not allow the runner to score citing that it was a dead ball. That, of course is incorrect. Our arguments were to no avail.

Wow. I don't know which one is worse. Incredible. This is why I am not a coach yet, I would go insane with these stories.

who else are we waiting on? I thought I was last...there were only 2 teams available when I made my selection. That would leave one team...and that is the team that nobody picks so the player who originally selected that team gets a bonus...

if somebody else still has to pick I would like to know what other team was still available beside the Orioles and Cubs.
