How does this guy go pro after his junior year? Topic

There is clearly something going on with the new EE change -- teams that never would've lost someone before are losing someone now. In Rupp, Wichita State, which did not make the postseason, lost a guy.

This is bad for the game.
We had this discussion about a month ago- I felt really bad for myself because a 770 rated guard off my Final Four team left, but then a conference mate (I think a directional texas school?) lost a 750 guy to EE- he hadn't won a CT title, or even make a NT game in years.  Then I felt really bad for him.

Bad.  Real bad.

So apparently any PF with rebounding and LP in the 90s is a candidate to go pro...even if their athleticism barely creeps over 70...and even if there are a bunch of more elite players that don't go pro.  But I should be happy because William Jones doesn't go pro too.

David,

For PFs, rebounding and low post carry more weight than other ratings and he was elite in both categories. He was also very good in nearly every other area as well. Actually William Jones was ranked higher for the draft, but decided to stay in school.

It's always frustrating to lose players early, but in general that's going to hurt the elite schools more than the others. But as you start to dip into the better recruits you have to plan for early entries.
