WIS ALLOWS Griefing!!!! Topic

Stevedotdec:  I think Grindi and Zedicus would argue that Zed didn't look at the lower division to get his recruits.  He didn't have to.  Damauler's d2 juggernaut recruits at the very highest level of d2 vision which includes a bunch of guys that are classified as D1AA recruits.  All he had to do was look at his D1AA lists to see who was favoring Damauler, double check to make sure they had above average potential, then start signing them up.  Zed might not be getting the best value for his money (undoubtedly there were better options available) but given that he was able to get decent players and still stick it to his nemesis at the same time, he found it to be the way he wanted to play his cards.

Ultimately, its still griefing.

Griefing plain and simple. WIS needs to take action on this swiftly and fairly as it is against the fairplay rules as laid out by WIS.

I don't give a rats *** whether it was griefing or not.

The simple fact is he got hosed.

WAHH. Tough break.

This crying to Norbert and getting money back in his budget is a load of bullcrap.

My 8:23am post was very critical of how WIS handled the situation.  Since then, the money was revoked and I think Norbert realizes his mistake.  So the WIS part of the story is over as far as I'm concerned.

There are lots of whiners on the boards so if you're mad that damauler whined and got some attention, then I really don't know what to tell you.  The squeaky wheel gets the grease, right?

So really the only thing that is still perpetuating (though perhaps it is dying out now) is this myth that it wasn't griefing and the weak defense that tries to prove that.  The fact that you, somehow, find that to be the least important part of this whole episode is a bit puzzling but whatever..

WIS ruled.  You're wrong.  Let it die.  Zed had 20 Scholies to fill.  If he was griefing he could have and would have taken all his recruits.  You guys are using this as platform to get rid 2 people you you constantly grief.  Zed and me.  Zed never said anything on the forum until he came on a couple of seasons ago and went after Damauler for poaching him 4 seasons in a row.  Because Damauler accused zed of being me you all turned on him like rabid dogs. Try being honest with yourself for a change.  You need players cheaply and you can choose between undecideds that you'll have to scout 3 to get 1, Damauler, Zed or me.  Who you gonna pick?  I'd bet $10 to a donut it won't be undecideds or Damauler.  So now that constitutes griefing?  Oh not on yours or Damaulers part I'm sure but if the shoe is on the other foot...Hang 'em.  Phooey on the lot of you.  Shut up about and move on.

Take a look at my Warner team. I am almost certain I have the best vision in all of D1AA. Zed's claim that 10 of his recruits were taken by a D1A is complete bull. Even with great vision only 1-2 recruits of mine a season are taken from a d1A school, so then why would anyone touch a recruit of Zed's when his vision so far is garbage and D2 caliber players?

With 20 schollies, thats 200,000 at D1AA plus bowl money. He should have PLENTY of money .
