I was on a plane and was chatting with an attractive woman in my row. She mentioned that she was from Salem, Oregon. I blurted out, "I coach basketball at Willamette there!"

This led to an awkward conversation, highlighted by my mumbled responses:

"I've never actually been to the school."

"I'm not really a coach."

"My players aren't real."

"I'm pronoucing the school incorrectly? The accent's on the SECOND syallble...Wil-AM-ette?"
