Good morning,

A number of folks in the HBD Forums have noticed that it has been over a full calendar year since there has been an update of any kind to Hardball Dynasty. No engine changes, no minor enhancements, etc. It's been over two years since the last HBD Developers chat. There has been little to no feedback by WIS staff in the "HBD Suggestions" forum, to the point where people have stopped making suggestions since they don't seem to be acknowledged.

A lot of people feel that HBD is a "dead" product in terms of any future changes.

Can you let me know if there is anything planned for the future of HBD?

it may be helpful to post something in the forums if there are any future plans for HBD in order to appease the masses.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for the note. At this time we do not have anything to announce for Hardball Dynasty. When we do it will be posted in the forums.
12 days!  That's pretty good for them.

Aside from the Amateur Draft and International budgets being outdated, my own pet peeve would be to correct the matter of releasing players who are injured.  I grant it is a little thing in the larger picture but why they came up with that is a mystery.

Please remind me why the LOB (left on base) stat can't be calculated correctly as a team stat and/or part of the box score?

And am I the only one who would be curious to see stats pertaining to the number of player games lost due to injury? (cumulatively to date for the season per team). It would be nice to be able to see the effects of budgeting dollars to Training and Medical a little more clearly.

Wait, did I just see an actual new feature? 

Got a message I'd never seen before from a draft prospect:  "Looking for a guaranteed MLB contract. If not, he'll probably take the scholarship and play DI baseball."  Is this a new message?  Or have others seen this one already?

If it is a new message then it is really messed up since the new rules prohibit offering a Rule IV draftee an MLB contract.
