16 x 16, Version 19 - Draft Thread Topic

How in the world are you supposed to choose a strategy for this Rubic's cube of a draft? It seems so unpredictable, I probably missed the playoffs when I nominated my player, and what follows is just a long march to my inevitable extinction. Are my draft picks brilliant? Idiotic? I feel like the newbie at the poker table.

But, yeah, I'm having fun.

That's what makes this draft fun.  You have to be able to improvise and change strategies on the fly.

Can't wait any longer.  I guess I'd rather pay top dollar for a version I can use rather than waste $7M for a version I won't use.

1918 Wilbur Cooper $11,260,716

So much for picking at the top of each round...

2008 Johnny Damon $4,739,307

Need a shut down closer.

Good morning, everyone.  Maybe the toughest 16 x 16 board I've ever seen.

Taking my Wilbur Cooper medicine with some strong black coffee to start the weekend:

1919 Wilbur Cooper  $ 9,994,792.

Hearing Mr. Ed in the background ----  Willlllllburrrrrrrrrrr

I'm surprised more people aren't jumping on Carter early. There are only so many that don't require drafting a backup catcher...
