Im not sure what the issue is...If there are less top players that means EVERY school has to deal with less top players right? Seriously, I think I must be missing something. In the OPs scenario, 3 of the 4 teams lost out...okay, should all 3 then be entitled to other stud players despite the fact that they didnt choose to go after the other players to begin with?

Sure. Maybe if zorzi just complained that the candy store doesn't have enough candy for him that would be a clearer wording of his argument.

Not what I am saying. Saying give more recruiting options to open up strategie a bit more. We all got stuck at VH with different ap to put in, depending on our choices (CHOICES). And we were waiting on the roll.

I think TrentonJoe said it best in the very first reply. You chose to not go with 80 AP’s. You COULD have, and that may have gotten you the recruit, but that would have caused you to skimp out on other recruits. It’s up the each coach to decide if it’s worth going all in on a guy or playing it safe. If you have 6 schollies available and you know you’re bringing on 2 walk-ons, would you rather have 2 studs and 2 mediocre players or have 4 very solid players? It’s up to you.

zorzii, do you really not get it? You made a series of choices. So did the other coaches. Your choices were made of your own free will. Why won't you see that? Your choices led to the outcome. The game isn't screwing you. Own your choices.

Considering your team is at the bottom of the baseline prestige list at Clemson and you're surrounded by a bunch of A schools, it shouldn't be all that surprising you were in a 4 team battle. Clemson isn't an ideal location if you're looking to win a title.

Is it so much to ask to have a world populated with enough 5 star recruits that my low prestige D2 team could fill a roster with them? All this decision making during recruiting makes my head hurt.
