Can I get in on this, please? 60s Baltimore Orioles hitters, 70s Pittsburgh Pirates pitchers

You're in Cap! Hey all, get your teams entered if you can. I always battle with the last 2 teams, as folks get in without signing up in the thread and then I get to play the bad-buy role. I have no problem with this, but if folks get in now, it makes it easier. IF YOU DON'T GET IN and I have others signing up, it'll be first come first serve! You have been warned.

I just entered...There are 4 spots left...

Final-4 is all we wait on. Everyone else is entered, so once we get these last four spots, we start.

Come on folks, just need four. This is a fun theme with a good group of guys playing. Excellent banter throughout the season.

I have a team "sort of" worked out but I just don't think I have quite enough PA or IP to pull the trigger. I will keep fiddling and see if I can get something done. Not looking for trade secrets here, but I would be interested to know from some of you $70M regulars, what is your minimum PA and IP to get through a season without a death spiral?? (and I know it varies depending on ballpark, AAA quality, extra-inning bad luck, etc) but just interested in some of your baselines.

IP's is generally the toughest part for me. I shoot for between 1200-1300. But there are different strats for this.
My PA's vary between 4800-5100.
I do run my AAA. I can generally find one AAA hitter that has quality work. Usually both my pitchers suck, but they chew up a few innings.
Neb, you want me to slot you in? Happy to have you back again!

With the below average AAA I only plan on getting about 1500 PAs & less than 100 mop up IPs. You can also squeeze some PAs & IPs out of your $200-$400K players prior to the transaction deadline. I try to make sure I draft about 4200 PAs & at least 1300 IPs, but I'm sure you could get by with less. I used these guidelines last season and had no fatigue issues.

I usually err on the side of more IP over more PA. PA can be had with AAA, even below average. I've had some AAA guys have legit platoon seasons in this league. If you get behind the curve with IP, it can sink you quickly. The 2 AAA pitchers are usually only good for 100IP combined, so you want to aim for 1300-1400 IP.

The best thing about this league is that everyone has the same issues. There are no perfect 70m teams.

Okay, if nothing else this team will be interesting to watch.

I am in with 70s Brewers hitters and 90s Expos pitchers.

Ill try with the 60's Twins Hitters and 70's Mets pitchers

You guys are in. Go ahead and get your teams entered, everyone else is in. Just two more to go!

Cubs 90s pitching

Rourke, if you can, please build and submit quickly. It always happens that someone doesn't sign up in the forum and they enter the league before those who sign up. Then I've got a battle to get this filled. Thanks for joining rourke, you'll find this group of guys is a ton of fun with banter and good competition.
