First, we are a Republic, not a Democracy. The original founders feared democracy...for damn good reasons...and intentionally inserted a procedural wall into the Constitution. Their fears were, essentially, that the citizenry was unqualified to make such a monumental decision as POTUS and could be too easily manipulated by propaganda.

Second, the probe is a political sham, not necessarily a legal one. The Mueller probe is precisely why we are not a democracy and why the Electoral College is necessary, regardless to whether you believe or not believe the merits of the investigation.

Not to speak for cccp but I think what he was asking, rather than is this a democracy/dictatorship, was do we have freedom of speech or not (in this thread?) The answer, according to WIS, is not really. The post must be on topic and not ad hominem.

IMHO, if those are the guidelines WIS has set forth, as long as the thread name stays substantially the same, dino can redline anything that falls outside that criteria.

I think WIS should treat threads like this one that have nothing to do with WIS business (e.g. theme league classified ads, drafts, info on how the various sim engines work, etc.) as something like a private forum. If the thread starter wants to have a conversation on a specific topic, and wants to have it without people calling each other names, why not let him redline and even ban (from just his own thread, of course) trouble makers?

Even if you're of the opinion that the thread starter is a jerk or kook who's redlining you without cause, why bother to continue posting in his thread if he's made it clear you're not wanted there? Everyone knows it costs nothing to start a new thread at WIS. So start your own thread and post what you want there. What's so hard about that?

Sorry for the rant. I rarely comment on this nonsense because I have most of the trouble makers blocked anyway. I'm just tired of seeing dino go through the same rigamarole over and over again with these guys.

rudy tooty today said that a few presidential pardons will clean up the mueller probe...this has got to be the very worst thing he could possibly have said for trump.....this from the guy who calls people dumb and morons.

Rudy Walnuts also said, "I don’t understand the justification for putting him [Manafort] in jail. You put a guy in jail if he’s trying to kill witnesses, not just talking to witnesses."

So witness tampering is okay. So long as you're not putting bullets in their necks or pushing them out of high-rise windows. Because that'd be going too far. But Trump would still probably pardon you anyway, because the Mueller thing is a witch hunt, etc.

thank you......im following the rules......for MY thread...i cant abuse people who post properly and i dont want to......people cant abuse me or the thread subject........general politics is amply covered at the pit.....so WHY would someone be motivated to force ME to change the subject of MY thread that I created.....as my friend crazystengle put it so well it is not easy dealing with this nonsense over and over again.......people who want to shout fire in the movie theater because they dont want anyone telling them they cant..

Cohens lawyers are very good but they aren't CRIMINAL lawyers which is what you want if you think charges will be brought against you. I don't know a lot about Cohen but I know he had something to do with a Taxi Cab company which seems to have a shady past.

If this Cohen guy broke the law, I think he should be prosecuted, but not by Mueller. Mueller should recommend it to a prosecutor and move on with his case which is to find Russian collusion. Like Comey, he has exceeded his bounds and is all over the place.

I think Manafort will do time...but not for Russian collusion. Manafort should face prosecution, but not by Mueller.

Mueller needs to stay in his sphere and do his job.

Trump has nothing to worry about since there was no collusion. The Steele dossier is silly on it's face. Ridiculous. The recent IG report shows the bias held by the upper echelon of the Mueller-Comey cabal. Obama appointees all over the place. Nuff said.
