It’s been a miserable Round 2 for me, as expected. But I went 5-1 in the pm2 cycle which included a 10 inning 1-0 loss.

The only team I spent enough time on was my 140M team. It has the best record in the league after drafting 23rd in Round 1.

It's not even the all-star break yet and I already wish this was over. Put me out of my gd misery.

An overnight schwarze, including 3 one-run wins...

Well we're off to Cancun for 5 days. My teams are a combined 22 games over .500. With little to no day to day management, let's see how we end up by end of day Tuesday.

Midway mark tomorrow. I'll update the standings over the weekend to include 162 game splits and advanced standings. Roster analysis will likely need to wait another week

This is still anyone's game, though. The difference between the owner who's won the most games in Round 2 and the one who's won the 13th most is only 12 wins. Divided by 6 teams, that's only a 2 game lead (sort of, not really, but you get what I mean).

To celebrate schwarze's vacation, the sim has graciously gifted me a schwarze this very morning!

And because this game is a cruel master, we follow that up with a 1-5.

I've had a 4-14 day and a 15-3 day so far this week, which makes perfect sense.

And start the second half with a Mauch. Don't think I had a single one of those the first half. Hope it's not an omen.

After a disastrous but predictable first half of round 2, I have three goals:

1. Finish ahead of 2018 Round 2's 24th place owner mpitt76's win total of 430. I'm at 214 at the ASB, so it could happen.
2. Have one playoff team. The 140M has the best chance. The other five will miss the playoffs unless they catch fire.
3. Do not spider any team, minimum of 60 wins for every team. Fatigue is pretty good, so this is achievable.

15-45 over the last 10 cycles. What am I even doing here?

49-41 during the 5 days on vacation. Better than expected.

ozo, thank you for doing more frequent standings updates in the spreadsheet. I'd taken to doing a few manually after a few days, and I really appreciate seeing them more current as the second half heats up here.
