There are few things I believe more important than exercising my right to vote. Although the concept of citizenship should not exist, yes, officially I am a US citizen.

I have read excerpts on Jefferson's Notes on the State of Virginia. Enough to confirm that a racist white man wrote the Declaration of Independence. I have been lucky to have been able to attend progressive institutions that have focused on world history more than typical Eurocentric history offerings. My focus has been on the history of slavery and US treatment of indigenous peoples. I can proudly state that I have not read one book by a "dead white guy" in two years. But I have been reading. A lot.

Well, that's good I guess because that means you can still read Pete Decker.
But not all dead white guys are to be ignored.
Some had a bit of wisdom.
Guys like Mark Twain or Walt Whitman, say.
Maybe even Jefferson.
I happen to know he liked some blacks pretty well.
TP taught me...........

Funny you mention Twain, you may not approve of this, but I actually participated in a walkout at my high school to protest Huckleberry Finn being on our school's Junior year reading list. We won :)

What is it you won? I don't understand.
Did you prove you had the least tolerance or what?
Or that your skin was the thinnest?
Or that you have absolutely no sense of humor or self awareness of pretension?
This world takes Rhino Skin to get by.
TP again.

This delusional utopia you hope to bring about can not occur.
Boogaloo is the new Helter Skelter.
But you ain't Manson...........

JUST SHUT UP DINO

so, I just realized something. In that Lone Ranger TV show, the mask wearing Ranger had a sidekick. He kept calling the Ranger Kem O sabe or something like that. Anyway the Indian was named Tonto in the TV show. Now THAT IS racist!

But, I here tell, Johnny Depp splained that one away in his Movie version.
Seems It was all fair/equal.
The Lone Ranger got to call his buddy and Indian sidekick Tonto (which as we've determined means "fool") BUT, the rest of the story is that Tonto always called the Lone Ranger Keem O Sabe------------- which according to Johnny Depp means dumbshit.

So, you see, it all evened out and thus in true Old west fashion was fair and square.
No need for the leftists nutjobs to get all worked up over the racial epithets being hurled about.
After all, they was buddies........out alone on the prairie............night after night.................bored, out of coffee or hardtack.................
you think they wondered about their gender?...............and whether what was in their hands when they ****** was representative of who they truly was?
How would you expect 'ol Tonto to broach the subject.................
"Just what denomination are you keem - o -sabe?"
"And are you really from Wyoming?
Ever dip a sheep?"
