will likely regret this one as well... had 3 other picks lined up and decided to throw them all away go in a completely different direction. unforced. with my second pick. on very little sleep. what could go wrong..

This is almost certainly a stupid pick, but as Casey Stengel said when he drafted Hobie Landrith with the Mets first pick in the expansion draft, if you don't have a catcher you have a lot of passed balls. Of course, the catcher associated with this guy will have a lot of passed balls anyway...

Whew... I was worried that 3day's pick of LuGo would start a run.

3day gets the better version of Randy Johnson, but I get the much better hitter... (and I won't have to start a D- range in the OF)
