You don't think Kent will get elected this year? In recent elections, players have been getting a strong increase in their final year. Lots of votes to go around this year!

I think Kent deserves to be voted in, but I don't have enough faith in the dumbass baseball writers to vote him in.

Do you follow the guy on Twitter that tabulates ballots? Only 6 have been revealed so far, but Kent has been added by two writers that didn't vote for him last year.

Scott Rolen has been elected to the HOF.

Todd Helton, in his fifth year of candidacy, came extremely close to receiving entry, coming up just 11 votes short. Billy Wagner climbed up to 68.1% this year. He and Helton are tracking well, and should receive entry in the next two years, before Wagner falls off the ballot.
