The Next 24: Decreasing Salary Draft Topic

My fielders are way higher priced in total than my pitchers and I'm guessing yours are too -- which shows that SLB still has a way to go in the salary scene. Thankful for the market price adjustments.

1991 Duane Ward $4,165,948
So much for my thoughts of having a "Montgomery-Ward" bullpen 1-2 punch.

Well, I was having trouble deciding between Devine and Niggling, but since you've cleared that up for me: 1970 Gene Tenace $2,422,660.
Aargh! He was definitely on my radar. (No not Doug Rader. He's a different catcher.)

This is the problem with staying up a little higher in salary, relatively, than some of the picks. I might be missing out on some good backups and PH who are lower priced.

I suspect we all have that problem, in one direction or the other, or both if we're in the middle, BSM.

Maybe you might want to consider
Liz, Radhames 2008 Baltimore Orioles R 84 6 6 0 6.72 1.78 .296 6.08 12,182 63 1.71 78 59 $1,023,336 B/C-

An Elizabeth Montgomery 1-2 punch might put a spell on all of us.

Interesting.

And let's see... there is a Dwight Bernard and a Derek Law to go with Montgomery, which would give you the British WWI Fieldmarshall? They each have a season left under $2M.... Monty Stratton, too.

(I keep weird hours and I have too much time on my hands right now.)

Edit: Hm... could be the beginnings of a War Memorial Theme...

Or, maybe I could go with Famous TV and Movie Babes of the Sixties and Seventies....

2015 Denard Span $2,773,249
This looks like a Round 19 pick out of order. He picked Reardon earlier today
Yup. Pick removed.

Sure would be nice if we could get through more than one round per day. This is taking forever.

All you guys hate me, don't you?
The guy I had my eye on was William Bradford.

No picks today?
11/24/2016 7:35 PM
Sadly not. I guess some don't realize you can still make picks off the clock.

2014 Ken Giles $2,291,062

I'm jumping ahead to pick 2010 Daniel Hudson $3,072,293. Neither of the guys who still have to draft ahead of me can pick him anyway, due to salary, and I won't be on the computer until late tomorrow night.
