The House Majority PAC, a Super PAC associated with House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), whose goal is to regain a Democratic majority in the House of Representatives in the 2018 midterm elections, just released a new poll of white working class voters that is sounding alarm bells for the Democratic House leadership.

Among the key findings is this stunner: By a margin of 35 percent, more white working class voters believe that the term “will help improve the economy and create jobs” applies to Republicans in Congress than it does to Democrats in Congress.

Other key findings of the poll are just as discouraging for Democrats:

  • Democrats trail on the initial Congressional ballot among white working class voters by 10 points, 43 percent to 33 percent.
  • A majority of white working class voters approve of the job President Trump is doing by a 52 percent to 44 percent margin.
  • 66 percent of white working class GOP voters approve of the job House Republicans are doing, up from 44 percent last year.

Whatever happened to Dump's tranny ban for the military? He tweeted, but hasn't followed up with any necessary directives or details.

Was that just a sop for his base, people like Moy, Miket23, and all?

From the same poll:

they say Democrats are more likely to “take the right approach on health care,” House Majority PAC’s poll found, a potentially important advantage amid the current health care fight in Congress.

The poll showed Democrats moving into a tie in the generic congressional ballot after respondents heard about Democratic jobs plans, and even moving ahead after hearing attacks on Republicans seeking to “end Medicare as we know it” and the GOP’s Obamacare repeal bills.

In a poll of more than 1,130 Americans conducted July 28-29 — after GOP senators tried and failed three times to pass a health care bill — Reuters/Ipsos found that nearly two-thirds of the country wants to either keep or modify the Affordable Care Act. A majority of Americans want Congress to focus on other priorities such as tax reform, foreign affairs and infrastructure.

Only 29 percent of respondents said they wanted Republicans in Congress to “continue working on a new healthcare bill,” the Reuters survey found.

President Trump’s favorite poll isn’t giving him a boost anymore.

The President’s approval rating in Rasmussen Reports, a right-leaning and oft-criticized polling firm beloved by Trump, dipped below 40% for the first time ever Monday.

That new low reflects Trump’s plunge in nearly every mainstream opinion poll, which have shown him scoring record-low approval ratings through his first months in office.

It also comes just a month after Trump hand-picked a Rasmussen poll as proof that he was performing better than his predecessor, former President Barack Obama.

Monday’s Rasmussen survey showed Trump getting overall approval from only 39% of likely U.S. voters, compared to 61% overall disapproval.
