Jesus ******* Christ! Lost again! Looks like there'll be another coaching change this off-season for us. Plus, most likely everybody with expiring contracts won't be returning.

Also, I lost 2 of my top players to injuries. They'll be out for awhile. May need to start looking towards next season.

That Kitsmiller injury was kind of suspicious. He scores a goal and 49 seconds later he gets injured.

Fortunately, nobody saw nuttin.

And one ******* goal on 31 shots against a 55-overall goalie!
Orehek is 63 overall, and probably better than that, He DID take htem to the finals last year.

In fact, that's your big problem. You played Seattle, with probably the best goalie in the league, Dakota, who plays defense first, Caps are good and Canuck Flyers went to the finals. Tough, frustrating opponents. All four made the playoffs last season.

Orehek is my goalie. He had Tillinghast in net.

Looking at the PBP, his goalie held him in there when you flurried at the end of the 1st period (6 of the 10 shots were real testers for his goalie). You had nothing the 2nd period (one real chance, a whopping 5 total shots). 7/16 shots in the 3rd were good chances.

You have two forwards with shot power >80, none w/ shot accuracy >80.

You're a little shy on finishers here in your first year. Everybody but Bridjmohan and Postley are just pumping it into the goalie's belly, or banging it high and wide off the glass.

and one of the goals Orehek gave up on you was a softie. Two star shots can't beat any goalie in this league not named Earl Thing.

15 of the owners are originals. We've been at it for over a year. Have a big head start.

BUT, Probie and I (especially) are strictly adding thru the draft these days. Example, I like Pecinovsky and Kooker on the free agent list. But I'd have to cut $7M worth of players to sign either of them for $1.7M. I don't like either of them enough to do that.

There's the window of opportunity for the fresh fish to catch up.

This is supposed to be a scoring game
Yeah baby.....Defense wins championships, right?

All he needs is a 15 year contract extension and a never-ending string of injuries.

This is his final year too. If I sign him and he breaks, I'm gonna be ******.

**** you sparky and your mercenary goalie.
4/18/2010 10:51 PM
unfortunately, he's no mercenary. He's here to stay.
4/18/2010 11:08 PM
Holy ****. Probie's team salary is $44,729,272.

Osaka Tar Heels Salisbury Striper Swipers
Offensive: 80 97
Defensive: 85 93
Goaltending: 68 72
Overall: 78 87

I don't like my chances.
4/19/2010 8:16 AM
That should make for an interesting game.
4/19/2010 8:04 PM
******* kidding me? i changed goalies so the sim decided instead just to sit both of them....this is about the 3rd time its happened to me.
4/19/2010 8:52 PM
and it shows because the blackshirts are terrible and have 2 goals on 6 shots after just starting the 3rd.
