I don’t consider alt right to be true GOP supporters. They are a real fringe group.
You could say the same thing about the pro-BDS wing of the Democrats. For all you know, the flag-waver at the DNC could have been far left.
There were not KKK or nazi symbols at the RNC.
You are missing the point. Your argument is that some Democrats are anti Israel and that mainstream Dems gave radio silence. You could say the exact same about Republicans. Dems tend to be BDS in their vitriol. Far-right Republicans tend to just dislike Jews and spread grand conspiracy theories. Both could have the same anti Jew sentiment, but express it in differing ways.
So the mainstream dems had no issue with it and were not disturbed by it. Yet they cheered when the Miss flag was taken away.
The response to both issues was radio silence. The Miss flag being taken away was due to like 50 protesters. The DNC had no affiliation with it. I didn't even remember it.

I understand your POV. I am just trying to give my alternative take on it. Obviously you needed it. If you hadn't had this convo you wouldn't have learned that there WERE American flags at the DNC, that the Palestinian flag waving was NOT done by the DNC, and that the DNC did not ban the Miss flag.
Note that all the the groups that promote BDS are liberal groups.
Another generalization. Yes, it's fair to assume that most supporters of BDS are liberal. Not all though. And that doesn't mean that it's only Dems who are anti semitic. You agreed in an earlier post in April that there are even numbers of Dems and Republicans who hate Jews. I agreed. The groups express that in different ways.

What do you mean? Pro-BDS people don't talk about Saudi Arabia because that's not the topic at hand. You have no idea what people think about Saudi Arabia. It's the 'blacks should focus on inner city crime' argument all over again.
This will be my last post on this topic as I think I have made my point. I just wanted to provide you an alternative opinion to you on the issue. As much as you say otherwise, your opinion does have weight and you clearly use it to influence others, with your kids, parents, and you just sharing your opinion on this site as examples. That's why I care about that. As a journalist ;) I don't like faulty info being shared around.
Also OMFG I just read your recent posts and you are STILL trying to spread the agenda that the left is anti semitic.
1. Most Jews vote Democratic
2. You agreed that there is equal anti semitism on both sides
3. Your own article stated that most Dems support peace and two-state, and then the article stated that that aspiration is commendable.
