The Packer offense, stalled since halftime of the game against Detroit last week, continued to struggle in DC today, putting only one touchdown and 13 points on the board. After missing a 50+ yard field goal with time running out that would have won it, Green Bay won the coin toss in overtime but did nothing and punted. The Defense held, forcing a Redskin punt. The Packers proceeded to run two ineffective plays followed by an interception. Apparently Aaron Rodgers suffered a concussion on that last play, which put the Redskins in fine field position. They did not waste it, moving close enough to make the field goal try all but a foregone conclusion. Packers lose, 16-13.
Amongst the injuries suffered by the Packers today were DL Ryan Pickett, LB Clay Mathews, TE Donald Lee and TE Jermichael Finley. No immediate word on the severity of any of them.
