I hear ya ol'timer! All I can say is that MUCH thought and back and forth wrangling has gone into this draft and around the time of DEAL 11 or 12, we decided on this current format as the fairest way to do it and also shorten it a bit. Yes, you do pick last in the final round, but you also picked first in round 18--the first round to go to 2 picks per round.
I know you are just joking around, but I just wanted to let you know that we have done as much as we can to keep things as fair as possible to all....and I am pretty sure we have had winners from almost every portion of the draft, so I think it's working pretty well now.
I was kidding . There are no bad picks, just bad owners.
I use to run 16-team pts style, 162 game schedule leagues for a living. I remember one guy calling me up and complaining he always got double digit picks every draft. Called me up at the end of the season and told me he drafted Sosa and McGwire the year they hit 60+ with the 16/17. lol
I've done a zillion slow drafts in all sports over the years. This time slot thing is the answer. Still don't understand why there was such an issue when the draft got way ahead of schedule. The time slots allow people to plan and know when they should be up, instead of constantly checking.
Good job with all the updates!!
