These next few picks are sooooo important. You can't draft the bench like you usually do.

Tree Rollins' fouls are a problem but he lasted WAY longer than I thought he should - I thought he would go around round 4 with his defense/rebounding/efg combination. (Honesty I should have considered him harder with my last pick.) I didn't think ben's defensive team thing was going to come together quite this well; he scored some great values (and fits) on his roster with his last three picks (Porter, Rollins, and Ward). He's going to roll out fearsome defensive lineups in all five leagues, and with offensive efficiency likely to be lower than in usual draft leagues due to the expanded season pool, that's going to be really difficult to beat.

Yea the whole 6th round I’m thinking “don’t let Ben get Rollins and Ward”

They were such obvious picks for his team and fit so nicely. I’m kinda scared.

All about the Benjamins.

That really is a tremendous amount of fouls and turnovers on one team though. I am curious to see it.

*5 teams

What do you do when you crunch numbers to rank players on your draft board, and the resulting scores tell you to draft someone other than the player your gut says to draft?

Right, an important correction in this league.

I guess it depends on how reliable the person crunching the numbers is.

I'm not as fancy as robusk - I don't "crunch numbers" so much as eyeball them. Which is probably why my team looks so mediocre right now ;)

Yeah I almost took Tree every round since the fourth. but my focus has shifted in these years to something else and Tree's negatives slightly outweighed the positives in my mind... but I could and probably am, of course, completely wrong.

I would've liked Tree, he's been at the top of my board for backup bigs, but I've been waffling between him and 2 other bigs for a rd or 2. Him going helps make my decision easier. Trying to look at the bright-side when my list of preferred guys is shrinking.

Argh JV and Sabonis back to back. Good value with both those picks.

I'm not really crazy about my Webber pick. He does have one really, really good season that can be a superb back-up at the 3 & 4 (and 5, actually...) and a couple of other really solid ones, but I think i would have been happier had I gone Sanders and someone else.

I'm pretty ecstatic about Sanders, though. He fits in nicely in place of either an Okafor season or a Silas season in the SL. His other four seasons aren't horrible if I'm forced to use them, but they're not exactly ideal either.

Seems like we're in a long stretch where every pick has me saying to myself, "Aha! I've been wondering where that guy will go!"

jh taking Valanciunas broke the tie on my draft board between Jonas and Arvydas. And I've gone from wondering when the two season studs (like Penny) will be selected to wondering when the one season studs (like Sanders) will be picked.

Tortured as I feel, this draft is more fun than human beings should be allowed.
