I grabbed Brian Roberts because I didn’t think I’d get Biggio. Forgot how deep Astro pitching is, I guess. I wanted Berkman actually but Bags is a very fine second choice.

Had 3 on my radar, Clemens Berkman Bagwell. All went before my pick. Figured with Richard I can go with his 79 or 80 season depending on who I get in the next rounds. Had I known all of the 2B that would have been available going forward I wouldn't have taken Dave Cash in round 5.

Yeah this is such a tough draft because you have to weigh getting an "above average" guy who is in front of you now or do you gamble and wait for a "great" player down the line with no guarantees. All while trying to stay under $120M but not TOO far under $120M. It's a balancing act.

I'll take Randy Johnson.
