I think your expectations are bit high.  I'd expect him to OPS around .750.  20 homers isn't out of the question.

I think Elway and Fox desperately want him to fail.   Elway's comments pretty much tell me he doesn't want Tebow at QB.   If they're not going to start him, they'll have to get him off the team.  The next guy, and there will be a new one next season, will have to be perfect and he won't be.   Ultimately, I think Tebow will be around as long as he wants to be around.  But he'll be the guy holding the seat for the next guy unless he magically becomes a pocket passer.

Yeah, probably pretty similar.   A placeholder until they get their next savior.

Neither Fox nor Elway was there when he was drafted.

.847 OPS isn't going to cut it in most worlds unless he's a stellar defensive player.    Hard to tell who's a stellar defensive player behind the plate.
