Yeah the Twins really need another outfielder at this point.

At least we didn't sign Ankiel.

he probably would have been better than Edmonds.

I saw this on Rotoworld. Where would he play? RF platoon with Hart?

Jim Edmonds told KSLG 1380 in St. Louis on Friday that the Brewers have told him he will "get a chance to play every day" against right-handers.

Edmonds initially expressed interest in returning to baseball with the Cardinals, but they didn't have enough at-bats available to him. The 39-year-old batted .250/.362/.521 with 19 home runs and 54 RBI in 292 at-bats against righties back in 2008, so he might have a decent amount of impact if used correctly. Still, he'll carry little fantasy value in most formats.

I assume RF is where he'd play; whether it's Hart on the bench or Gomez (with Hart playing CF?) remains to be seen. Braun certainly isn't going to be given a lot of days off.

Brewers claim RHP Marco Estrada off waivers from Washington, DFA Tim Dillard.

Pitchers Chase Wright and Scott Schoeneweis sign minor league deals with the Crew.

Schoeneweis was in the news last season after his wife died of a drug overdose at their home in Phoenix.
