I assume their pitching will falter down the stretch. My best friend is a Reds fan. I'm rooting for them so he'll have a reason to watch baseball. He's usually done with MLB by now.

Yes.

Because he's a 'tard.

Is there a worse combination of driver than black, woman?
5/18/2010 8:54 PM
WOW. Your profile says you're from Florida. Old, race/sex indifferent should rule.
5/18/2010 8:57 PM
You would be suprised. Most of the "bad" driving in Florida are from people who dont live in Florida and have no idea were they are going. Sometimes they are old, sometimes they arent.

How many times have you made it down to the Sunshine State?
5/18/2010 9:07 PM
20-30 times, I'm sure. More if you count Jax. Many of the bad drivers on 75 are the standard "All I see is blue hair, two hands on the wheel and a turn signal for the last 28 miles" type.

Hey Mike, isn't Idaho to Florida a long trip?
5/19/2010 12:35 PM
What do you think about the ref throwing the ball at a heckler, then when the heckler threw it back at him he cried to security?
5/19/2010 12:46 PM
It is if you use a horse-drawn carriage. But we've got airplanes and automobiles in ID.

I haven't seen it. I'm sure the ref will be disiplined for his actions. That said, you can't have fans throwing things at players, coaches or refs. Unless, of course, you're talking about the WWE.

It wasnt a crow hop and chuck, the ref "checked" the ball to the fan and he checked it right back. The guy is also the CEO of Mariott Vaction Ownership.

Have you ever had issues with officiating as a spectator?
5/19/2010 1:42 PM
airplanes and automobiles in ID???? who knew?
5/19/2010 1:49 PM
also, will there ever be another 300 game winner in MLB? If so, who?
5/19/2010 1:50 PM
If "YOU SUCK!!" counts as an issue. But, for the most part, I don't really pay attention to the officials. I didn't pay to see them officiate.

Evidently you did not.

Probably not. But, if there is going to be one, he'll need to start his career when he's 20-21 and hang on for those last few years to make it. It's much easier to average 15 wins over 20 than 20 wins over 15. What makes it more difficult is that he'll need to pitch for a contender that will give him a few wins when he gives up 5 runs in 5 1/3. And most contenders aren't using 20 year olds because, well, they're contenders.

Which will we see first, the 300 game winner, or the 50+ year old starter?
5/19/2010 3:32 PM
I'd say it depends if Jamie Moyer can remain effective for three more seasons.
5/19/2010 3:37 PM
Is eeyore aware that there already has been a 50+ year old starter in MLB?
