I just read that the Philadelphia Flyers are 82-21-4 when Kate Smith does God Bless America before games, either live or on tape (obviously the latter lately)

Is there any singer that you can suggest for the Leafs? We desperately need it.

Mike, what sort of results will Santiago Lima bring? He would be the 4th or 5th starter on a non playoff team for the year filling in for an injured player.

Assuming he has decent fielding behind him in a neutral park, I'd expect him to have a WHIP around 1.45-1.55 and an ERA around 4.5. He'll be fine as a 4.

Past history. You took over a team built to win a WS during the season. You managed to make the playoffs before screwing them up. Now you've had almost a full season plus the pre-season to put your stamp on the team. That dooms them to 90 losses, more or less.

The original Whiny ******* were never a 90 loss team. Sickscrewup took a perennial WS champion and fluked only one WS.
