I think I can skip ahead and take:
1971 George Foster Giants Bench $861,027

I'm sitemailing my Rd 23 & 24 locked in picks now. Great Draft, schwarze!
I totally agree, best draft I've ever been in.

Thanks! Lots of "game-theory" type strategy. Picking the "best player available" isn't always the right pick.

Since BHeid already picked this round...
Bench - 1999 Royals - The Mighty Quinn (the Eskimo) - $989,147

The next version is going to be slightly different, but similar in the the key points (including default players). Due to the nature of the rules, it's going to be a 16-team league.

Sadly, not everybody in this version will get to play in version 2. The only fair way to choose the 16 owners for the next version, is to base it off of the order of signup for version 1. So the top 16 listed in the sign up thread will get an invite. If one person opts out, then #17 will get an invite and so on. I apologize to anybody that is outside the top 16 that doesn't get an invite. The next 24-team version, those that missed out will get invited before going public.

1) I agree this has been a great draft - very challenging, good owners who kept it moving quickly, professionally kept on track by schwarze, and all-consuming in making me refresh the pages constantly because I was worried about who was being taken.

2) As the #18 signee I’m disappointed I likely won’t be around to defend my championship but completely understand.

haha i see what you did their ron!

that said, the top 15 sign-ups plus the CHAMPION from this league would be cool. i guess not for #16 on the signups though

There's a shot one or both 17 and 18 get in. Just need a couple of opt-outs.

I believe I can finish:

Rd 22: Jack Voight - Orioles - Reserve - $1,279,991
Rd 23: Craig Grebeck - White Sox - Reserve - $928,471
Rd 24: Erick Aybar - Angels - SS - $4,073,627

Great job schwarze. For the next version, why not give the first 16 invites based on W-L record in this version.

As the #20 sign-up - How about the two World Series teams and then the next 14 in order of sign-up. Give us "outsiders" a little hope.

Asking for an outsider friend. :)
