schwarze, do we have to have 20 from our drafted team and 5 from the dispersal draft, or could we, for example, do 21/4 if Round 5 pickings were slim enough?
Wow, never thought this would ever come into play? There are 16 teams drafting 5 players each, for a total of 80 players. There are 14 teams to choose from, which is 5.7 players per team, on average. I can't believe that anyody's 21st player is going to be better than a team's 6th or 7th best player. I really think that this is a non-issue, but I'll rule that you have to keep 20 and draft 5... just on principle.

The schedule starts tomorrow!

If know that you are not going to be around for your scheduled time-slot, then leave a proxy with a few people so you don't get skipped. Let the league know who you the proxy with, so they can be site-mailed if we're ahead of schedule. I noticed that three people have not read the site-mail I sent this morning (including grayfoxx, who we're stuck at).

FYI - You'll note that Boston and LA Dodgers have the same win%. I randomly picked one team out of hat and that team is scheduled draft first in the odd numbered rounds while the other team drafts first in the even numbered rounds.

You didn't watch the Nationals much this year, did you?

Like I said, yes, I'm sure I will be able to improve my team by replacing my 21st best player with my 5th-round pick. Guess I just had to ask on principle. That and the fact that I'm not all *that* enthused about the players that are going to get drafted in the second half of even this first round.

LOL, well I assume some teams will have more than 7 draftable players and some will have fewer... Heck, even some 500K utility player who might have speed or can field could be worth more than a team's 21st player.

I guess I have no choice, as this particular cupboard is likely to be bare by the time I pick again. There are a couple of nice hitter upgrades available, but somebody has to pitch.

Give me the third Brewer taken already:
