Doesn't really matter. The DITR system isn't changing. It's working as intended.

Yeah, you missed something. Still angry because I wouldn't let you play in Coop, spudstalker?
Just a guess but I bet it has something to do with the number 52.

Your post doesn't clear anything up, but that was expected.

I believe I wanted into MG at one point but changed my mind. After changing my mind you rejected me though?

Ah well, obviously you still hold a grudge. Have fun with that.

Probably moosep, and I agree, 52 wins is unacceptable. Every player should strive to make the playoffs every season.

I wish WIS would implement a rule where the worst team in the world each year has it's owner removed. It'd sure kill all incentive to tank.

Yeah, you changed your mind when I said "I'll consider it if I don't get any better options."

And, yeah, I also said "No seasons with less than 55 wins." You apparently thought I was kidding.

Clearly I'm a tanker. We can move on, because I most certainly did long ago.

3/12/2010 2:24 PM
I just started a thread for Cooperstown recruitment. Would you like to get rejected in that one also?
3/12/2010 2:47 PM
Too many tankers in that world for my liking, but thanks.

There will be two less after this season. C'mon, apply for membership!!!
3/12/2010 3:02 PM
2 less? There's at least 5, probably closer to 10, that have 52 wins or less on their record.
3/12/2010 3:04 PM
Most of those were mid-season takeovers. You, however, showed up, cut payroll and started tanking with your first team. You had a plan.

I have NEVER seen a fringe ML player become a regular ML position player nevermind a positional player jump to all-star status. What we have is an occasional RP or catcher who becomes a Barely Usable MLer (BUMs). Make it work or get rid of it.

Or someone post the fringe positional player who became an ALL-Star through the DITR process.

24 hrs and I'm still waiting for someone to post a True Diamond In The Rough - as described by administration. Me thinks he does not exist and is a figment of Administrations imagination. You (mike, tec, and others) may not like the conclusion but because you don't like it does not mean it is not accurate, DITR is false advertising. I repeat - Fix DITR or get rid of it.

Dammit, griv, Pinky made two A/S teams.

Why aren't you accepting him as an example?

Here's one of the other guys I mentioned(the one I traded after he became a DITR).

Also a two-time A/S.

it's clear that the lack of quality DITR's is what prevented the Washington DC Socialists from playing .500 ball.

Here's the 1B. AAA terror and obviously one of the guys who could have been awesome in the steroid era:

I just don't have the patience for .220 hitters with 40 homers.
