congrats to Purdue on beating a 13 seed. Big win for a team that was a possible 1 seed a few weeks back.

Purdue loses if Clarence Jackson plays. All the ESPN guys who picked Siena to win were making that pick based on thinking Jackson would play considering he was a game time decision, and that generally means you'll play.

Vandy and ND are both going to lose? You two are crazy. ND is extremely hot right now and played in the best conference. They will roll.

anyone else get the feeling that TX's FR PG will be coming back for 1-2 more seasons after the end of last nights game?

I also can't believe after all the hype the last 2 years for the big east how mediocre they have showed up. Who do they think they are, the ACC?

We're really judging the Big East already?

Lane violation? Seriously?

So what happened to make Ga Tech hit _24 of 25_ free
throws?

Talk about an unlikely stat.

Yea that was horrendus. The kid lost his balanced a bit, it may have technically been a lane violation but that's never even called with 15 minutes in the 1st half let alone 17 seconds in a 2 point tournament game. I thought them not checking the clock after the ball went out of bounds was equally as bad as the lane violation call.

It doesn't matter if he lost his balance. He stepped in the lane before the ball had the shooter's hands. It's a lane violation, plain and simple. "Accidentally" speeding doesn't get you out of a citation/warning/ticket, even if it was just 2 mph over.

Sometimes it does.

The point is, there are technically a few lane violations every game but you rarely see one call, they are only called when they are blatant. That one wasn't even close to blatant, definitely should've been a no call.

What's ridiculous is the notion of being ticketed for going 2 mph over.

Ah the old debate- do you call the rules the same at 10 seconds into an exhibition game as 10 seconds in an elimination game...

It was a violation, but I agree with those asking "why didn't they check the clock on that last inbounds?" With all the times they stop to get the clock right at 1 min ...
