I know, all3. I've been recruiting people like crazy...Tom Izzo and Coach K would be proud. But I'm confident it will fill. I just hope WIS gets its act together and releases those new players. This is ridiculous.

I'll take the Craptors

No one out there is gonna take the Knicks? I keep hearing (especially today) that they're 2 max contract guys away from being viable. So 2 of the 50 Greatest could help that group, no? Milwaukee is an underrated team, too: very good PG and a solid C (16 and 10 in 69 games).

My hope is that the real life Knicks end up landing Joe Johnson and Amare and become a crappier version of the 2005 Suns (since they won't have Nash or Marion).

No, seriously, I'll take the Raptors. Must be a Raptor Truther running the forum. I apologize. : )

I got you in there, emp. Toronto is a good choice. Chris Bosh will appreciate the help from two all-timers

Yeah, we can consider it his last fling with the Craptors before he heads to warmer climes in South Beach.

Btw, NBA free agency has been much ado about nothing so far. When the big stories are Darko getting 5 mil per and Drew Gooden getting 6....well, not too intriguing. Anyway, let's see if we can get 2 more before everyone disappears for the holiday weekend. If we get those 2 today, I'll set up an official draft board and divisional alignment. At that point, all we'll have to do is wait for the 2009-10 players to arrive.

Can I semi-rant for just a second here? Please? On one hand, I'm glad that everyone in this league had the stones to accept a challenge. This is not going to be an easy league, and it's not going to allow people to play some of their silly clone games. Or their silly, "I've played with this EXACT team 25 times and have a handful of championships to show for it" games. To me, this league really forces you to KNOW basketball and what works, not just what stale formula you've come up with to win. I guess I'm just surprised (but not really) that some of the freakin gurus of this game haven't signed up for a league like this. Okay. Done with rant. Happy birthday to the greatest country on earth.

Hey hoosier. It's pretty simple: Different strokes for different folks. It's what makes the country you wished happy birthday to so great: options and choices. I'm just glad we're 2 away. Enjoy the long weekend everyone. We'll see how this goes next week.

Ok I'm in with the New York Knicks

I'll take a second team in the New Orleans Hornets, if that is okay, and I beleive we are now full.
