No, only owners with a balance of less than 5 Million will be slotted into the draft (those few remaining millions would carry over into next season though) .  You must continue trying to acquire your 5 Player Units until you have either done so or gone bankrupt.

I know the rule book is quite lengthy dean, hell it took me a month to write and another month to tweak it, but I felt it was necessary to cover every angle in as much detail as possible.


By the way, I have started the Auction House thread in the owners forum, feel free to take a look at it.  I will begin posting the Player Unit lists soon in a separate thread.

I have a question about a scenario that might come up.  Say I have 30M left and I need an IF.  Say I really like Toronto's IF, so I wait until they come up to bid.  Myself and another owner get into a bidding war that lasts a few days.  I lose out because he finally ponies up to 31M.  I am out of luck and since Toronto was the last team and all the other auctions has closed because no new bids in the last 24 hours.  I am not bankrupt but I can't bid on any other units.  Do I go to the Player Unit Draft?  Or what else would happen?

DH question----------how can you take a team with an expensive DH and then randomly move this team to the NL where his DH is worthless?

Keep your bank account in good standing and you'll be in the AL every season. Or if you find yourself stuck in the NL, you can trade him or sell him to one of the wealthy big wigs in the American League.
