Well,  both the Pirates and Braves had an option on the player.  He said he wasnt going for him.  I wasnt under the impression we HAD to make a trade for those rights.  If we do, I dont mind drafting him.  Its not that big of a deal.

You have to trade for the rights or draft the player.  You can not defer the rights.

Make a trade!  Rattlers, just trade oberkfell for a scrub if need be.

As a vegetarian who runs a lot it is unlikely that I just had a heart attack.  Rather, that text was a representation of the sound deanod's spleen would have made would he have proposed that transation in person.
