ok..my quick draft experiment is over.  i took the top 400 salaried Lakers of all time (didn't try to twist them from any year, just took their Lakers years) and this is what I came up with...
70-71 Wilt
88-89 Magic
99-00 Kobe
72-73 Jerry West
09-10 Lamar Odom
97-98 Robert Horry
01-02 Derek Fisher
This leaves me with $1.6 million for 5 bench scrubs who would need to play 3-4 minutes per game.  Some superstars, some fan favorites in Horry and Fisher, and if you don't like Lamar Odom you could swap him out with 88-89 A.C. Green.
ok, right now, you go and draft those 5 scrubs and then come back and apologize, I dare you

and btw your team sucks and my grizzlies team is going to clean it out

hey ash, I'm pulling out.
I hate to wait this long and then end up with the Grizzlies anyway.

Thanks for the invite,  will see you around.
Good luck
jesus christ no one has to end up with the f-ing grizzlies - I picked first last time and wound up at .500 and some dude who picked third from last ended up winning - that's the great thing about this league - it's highly competitive top to bottom exactly because you have the freedom to pick any season of anyone who even played a single game on the team you pick

the only thing your teams can clean out is the corn in my teams ***.  those seven guys right there show that you can draft several of your favorite players in a 47 mil league.  although, i do agree the 42 mil leagues will be more challenging to draft

a)  that lakers team is so terrible they wouldn't let them be called the clippers.
b)  sorry to see your extreme impatience, vibeke.  Thanks for being in the league for less than a week.  gl in your other theme leagues.  Let me know how quickly they fill.
c)  I'm done.  Sorry everyone.  I'm going to use my remaining credits on progressive leagues.  I have no desire to play anymore.

This new release is terrible.  The "what-if" scenario is undesirable to do in lower cap (ie $42M) leagues.  This means OL and the ODL (which was my favorite league).  Since theme leagues are few and far between, I still play a good number of OL.  I'd bring this up with admin, but admin won't care, and it will be another year at least (probably two) before we'll have the situation looked at.  It's simply not worth the effort to try and fix.

If someone wants to continue the league, I'll post last year's final results so you can draft accordingly.
