How about taking only players that were never an all-star in either the NBA or the ABA? I think that I will go with that theme.

Do you mean never in an all-star game, or never made an all-league team?  Either is a great idea, but the first is especially challenging.  I actually thought about going with that one, but then got lazy with the research.  Some nice choices, though.

how about never a gold?  players who played in the olympics but never got a gold medal.  There are some good international players on that squad along with the 1972 US Silver team, and the US Bronze team in 1988.  You'd get about every international player there was except the 2004 Argentina and the 1988 Soviet squads.  (sorry no OURvydas).

I have entered a second team to help get this off the ground.  It is "The Punch" twist.  Which means that I will only use players from the 77-78 Lakers and Rockets, but I can twist them to anytime in their careers and I must use the main principles....Kermit, Rudy T, Kevin Kunnert, and Kareem.

You would be surprised by some of the choices that there are for this one. About half of the roster will be players who are normally 3rd to 5th round picks in the $52 Million NCIH draft league! And I also have a couple of players in mind that I have never seen used, at their full salaries, before in any league. We'll see how it shapes up.

My one fear is not having quite enough scoring and/or usage to be a top level team in this league.
