Yeah, but the point is that the Patriots have too many flaws and will need to get extremely lucky to win the superbowl.  Their odds can't be any higher than like 4% atm.

N.O. in week 1....I'll give them that.  Other than that, the Bears are average, STL, ATL, Denver, Carolina, Minny and SD are all average-terrible.

No, the Pats have had flaws, just not as big as they are now.   That said, they aren't flaws that can't be fixed.

ATL and chargers are average-terrible? chargers never seem to get going until halfway through the season..and atlanta is pretty good..not a packers fan and I do believe their schedule has been weak..but those teams aren't bad..

Have you watched ATL or SD play this year? They are average at best.

Dean....   only a coach like Belichick could say that, and then HAVE IT GO PUBLIC and not get fired.  Couple things wrong with the quote....

1)  Jets arent the best defense in the league.  Maybe the best in the division....  and that's even speculative.
2)  While they scored 37, they were given 7 by Sanchez. 
3)  They were given the ball at the 16 by McKnight which led to another 7
4)  Sanchez's timeout gave them the time and timeout situation needed to score a TD at the end of the half.  Up until then (1:30 left in the half), they had a whopping 6 points.
5)  We will let the media continue to suck Bill's dick, as they have for a decade. 

I'm guessing that he implicitly meant the self proclaimed best defense in the league.

7 of them were from Sanchez, but from the sound of it he wasn't in the mood for a logical analysis to nitpick the means.  And it's pretty standard for offenses to get some assists along the way.  All things considered it seems pretty on par for an overall offensive performance that ends in 30 pts.
