At this point 16 is sounding a lot better...  I think that would be a plenty big-enough cut for either number of teams.  Unfortunately most of my first-round picks were going to be from the mid-90s... but it looks like a good solution.

Are you going to include the 2011 season also?  You could go from 1999 to 2011.

Yes, we will include the 2011 season.

I have some feedback.  Most are OK with the change, but I ahve heard reasonable concerns that with less than 24 teams, there will be less teams to play to get in your live games.  I also heard from one or two that they really like the mid 90's seasons and would hate to have them cut out.  I am waiting to hear fomr a few more and then I will decide if there will be any changes.  Cuz if several drop out due to changes, then it does not help us by cutting back to 20.

Hey All,

I feel that  I need to do something to get this going before people start losing interest.  I am trying to compromise and use all the input I have received.

This is what I want to do:

1. cut to 20 teams - There was a concern from one person that it would limit live play because you have more games with each person and if there are some that don't get there games in then less live.  But I think it also means that you get more games with the ones that play lots of live so it will all even out.  We should still get just as much live play in.

2. Years = 1996 - 2011:  There are several that like the mid 90's years so I am only cutting a few (compromise) so we can have some mid 90's.  I still want to cut back at least a little so that we still have plenty of duplicate picks each round which makes this challenging.

Note: with 20 teams, the rules are 4 divisions of 5.  Only the division winners make play-offs (no wild - card).  You get money if you are in the playoffs and the WS winner gets more credit than normal (5500 credits instead of 4000 which is cool).

If someone is dropping out, please let me know.
