The cap issue (or NO CAP) is fine with me, I just hope there is not a VAST difference between teams caps.  It would be a JOKE having one team at around 200mil salary playing in the same division against a team with 30mil salary...  We should be split up in divisions by SALARY, same salaried teams together?  I am fine with NO cap, as long as we establish this No Limit strategy before we are done picking our teams!  Its COOL!

Unless something shocking happens, everyone will be withinin $15 million of each other.  The $200 million to $30 million example is impossible.

You shouldn't necessarily worry about the overall payroll of any team. As Spotsell said, you can have a team with a huge payroll that's not very good. You can also be on the lower end of payrolls and do very well.

Here's an extreme example: I was there for the bloodbath that was the 1995-2011 Pick 6 Draft. I still have nightmares about it. I picked a terrible strategy and ended up with the second lowest overall payroll in the league. One team has about $45M more in payroll than I do. That team is currently 40-37 and my team is 39-38. Neither one's a great team, but I'd say $45M more in payroll for one more win is a bit extreme. The similar records are easily explained, but I'll let you figure that out for yourself.

Wow, that round helped a lot - five out of six!  Of course, because four of them were SPs I now have over 1200 quality innings from five starters.  I know no trades can be made during the selection process, but that doesn't mean we can't negotiate now - if anybody's looking for SPs down the road, let me know!

oh good...2 starting catchers, a middle reliever, and nothing else.

I have 2 relief pitchers.  Hope they're durable.
