KB, your points are almost the exact ones I was trying to make, just better said.

On your first point, exactly.  Yeah, the guy is fine, but if he's only going to be a background player anyway, then why not have a defensive stud with no per/lp instead of a guy who is just slightly above average or average at everything.

On your second point, that's all I meant, too.  I didn't mean to put anyone down or start a debate over whose opinion is more important.  I was only making the point, especially because I know how good ku's teams are and how good of a coach he is, that you can learn a lot from checking out the types of players guys like mbalding and tianyi recruit or start.

Last, Scott Cadet, despite his disappointing senior season, will be inducted into the Hamline (Wooden) HOF.  I like to imagine that he blocked a fadeaway into the upper deck, running off just enough time before it reached the seats that the horn sounded :)  Still think you had the better team...

I still say that title game was probably the most exciting game I've ever "watched" on here.   Frustrating that we were I think 3 points combined from going 35-0 ourselves, but what can you do.

Well you're the favorite once again, and getting ready to shatter D3 RPI records, so I guess you can do that!
