have a suggestion and I'm willing to go along with it, since there's no easy way to validate the strikeout or homer off of issue, especially for earlier seasons....here it is.  I don't see that it changes much, but if someone has a probllem with it, let me know...if not I'll change those two rules:

instead of needing a pitcher who struck out a player, just make it a contemporary who's careers overlapped for at least a couple of seasons, and the same for a player who has homered off a pitcher.

Finding who homered off a pitcher is easy. Go to that pitcher's B-R page, and click on HR Log (just above their pitching stats).

yeah, but finding out who a pitcher struck out is not easy..too bad they don't have the same thing for pitchers' strikeouts
