My pitchers in the $130M league are approaching fatigue death spiral despite the fact that I chose a fairly strong pitcher's park in Griffith Stadium. I drafted 1,269 IP and my pitchers have thrown the 2nd fewest IP in the league so far. I really don't get what the problem is.
1,269 IP in a 130M league with a DH? That’s about 200 too few

Yikes. I draft more than 1269 innings in a $80M theme with no DH.

Ah, the DH is probably it. I was likely factoring in the usual no-DH teams I draft for. Hopefully I can find a way to get things under control.

And 1,250 in an $80M theme in a pitcher's park would be more than enough.

OK I would like to send everyone an apology for the lack of competitive nature from my teams. I am honestly at a loss on why they are not doing better, ok, why we cannot get a win to save our lives.

When making the teams I thought they would be average at best, but not this bad. I am open to feedback, or I pray for it, to let me know where I went wrong in drafting my teams. I must have missed something, but cannot figure it out.

You draft too many innings, you need to pick your spots better for homerun based hitting teams and you need to focus more on defence. Those are 3 basic things that jumped out at me after looking at your teams although I'm sure there are other issues.

Mathewson is currently the only guy I can regularly pitch in the green and of course he keeps getting rocked. Still baffles me that I can't get more out of him in a pitcher's park.

I always struggle with the innings as well. If you draft too many, the other teams beat you offensively because they know how to use every penny to squeeze out that extra hit or run. 3 of my teams are over .500 currently which means I am getting better, but I have two seriously derelict teams that seem destined to ruin my overall chances. For hitters, I try to envision a solid "team", with some speed, some pop, and some patience. I can't tell you how much $$$ per PA I spend. That is a bit too much for me. I do know if you put too much money into your bench, then again, the smartest owners will beat you offensively more consistently because they have, on average, a better lineup than you in any given game. This isn't meant as advice, because I have not actually earned the right to give it. In fact, I also welcome some feedback on my teams, especially the two duds. All I can say is keep trying! I have never had any owner call me out on my teams even with historically poor showings. They are professional and helpful when asked. Good luck the rest of the way!

At this point it looks like I have too many innings for my Coors team, although TBH given previous WISC experiences in Coors I prefer this, especially since I'm over .500 right now (60-102 in the last one IIRC). Offense is like schwarze's, just enough to get by but not enough to help out my pitching, although the benefit is that I'm not hitting well enough to have real fatigue (some 90s and one high 80, not a big deal yet).

My 100M team either balanced its rough starting schedule or is giving me a big middle finger, also around .500 despite starting 0-10. 255M is settling in around .200, so all I'll get from that is entering my 110 team in the second-chance league. 130M is struggling but not fatigued, so I need to play the teams that are, haha. The other two are a little under .500, right around where I thought I'd be, but that horrible 255M team is costing me about 10 spots in the standings. Fortunately that's just the difference between 60th and 70th instead of, say, 21st and 31st.

Thanks Hazy...the advice is appreciated.

My 89 Eckersley in the 100 mil league has an ERA of 0.00, OAV of .128 and a WHIP of 0.60.
My 89 Eckersley in the 110 mil league has an ERA of 8.03, OAV of .345 and a WHIP of 1.54.

My $130M team is gonna chase 130 losses at this rate. Gotta hope my other teams can pick up the slack.

Maybe in the future I will consider sending teams back for too few innings in general, not just extreme leagues like the 90M one. 1,269 is just not enough at 130M

I was surprised that a had a couple teams with fatigue issues. I'm usually right on it. They are still staying above4 water - fatigue wise. But not with wins!! I feel l ike "the weakest link" Love old useless references.

Oh what a relief, there are 11 owners that have a worse record. Geeze, we stink.

2-16 for the day. I am f*cked!
