Just another thread were hate-filled Liberals attack the truth with nothing but sad accusations and stupid blabbering.

The "most damaging" thing they can find in someone's entire life history is that he MAY have one time inappropriately touched (NOT attacked, NOT raped) someone when he was 17? OMG, what a perv. Such immorality. He should be stoned.
Literally the only other person besides Doug who had posted here when you said this was rsp. Liberals?

Look, I am taking this with a healthy dose of skepticism, as should everyone. I'm not ready to deny the accusations and if Kavanaugh is found to have done this he has no right being on the highest court in America... a person who has to make important decisions around WOMENS RIGHTS!
So, you think a mistake as a teenager should finish you 36 years later? If he is found guilty, I don't think he should be confirmed, but not because he did it but rather because he lied about it. Honestly, my gut tells me he is innocent as the evidence is very weak, but I also wasn't there. Hypothetically, if he is guilty and came out and said "I was young and screwed up, please forgive me," I would have no problem with him serving.
Finish you? Look if Kavanaugh apologizes like you said, I have no problem with him being on the lower courts. Not the Supreme Court. Not that I think he is guilty.

The same people who have been screaming about Trump for 2 years are now screaming about Kavanaugh.
It appears they have the same "evidence" against both.
Why can't these people wait until something is proven (if ever), before spewing their hatred and personal agendas?
Why do they refuse to see how stupid and incompetent that makes them look?
9/25/2018 11:36 AM
Look, I agree. Let's not make judgements about innocence or guilt until we have more info. That includes Republicans saying that Kavanaugh is innocent.

a mistake as a teenager??? Do you think the women involved just think it was a "mistake as a teenager"? That's a big part of the problem. Trump says he likes to grab 'em by the ***** and its just "locker room talk". Kavanaugh alledgedly gropes girls while a drunk teenager and its just a teenage boy doing what teenage boys do,
9/25/2018 1:10 PM
What, wylie, you never groped anyone in college? What a ******* nerd.
9/25/2018 1:30 PM
Kavanaugh is a ******* liar. He's been caught lying multiple times but the GOP ignores it.

Now there's multiple accusers. I'm sure just like with Trump everyone else is lying.

a male accuses a priest of this **** after 30 years have gone by and no one questions him. A female accuses an obvious drunk, frat boy type and everyone thinks she's lying. Oi vey

To be fair, the timing is a bit strange. But you make a good point.

IF it can be proven that the touching (or groping or whatever) came after the woman (women?) said "NO", then that totally changes the entire narrative, but let's be honest: seeing just what you could get away with was part of the dating "game" 30-35 years ago. Hard for me to imagine you'd be able to find a single male who was a teen or early 20-something then who asked for permission before every single touch. Like the use of certain words, certain actions that were simply dismissed then (whether right or wrong) are now not. Actions and words should be held to the standard of the time they happened, not today's standards.

I'm one. I've never touched a woman without her permission. Just because you were a creep or perv, dont throw it out on the rest of us.

I disagree. Bad decisions are bad no matter what era it came in. Slavery was just as bad in the 1700's as it would be today.

I call "Bull Sh*t" on this.
You never kissed a woman (even on the cheek or neck) without asking? What about on her hand?
Never "accidentally" brushed her breast to see how she'd react?
Never patted her on the butt or put your arm around her without asking?
Never held her hand before asking permission?

Is that seriously what you're trying to get us to believe? NO F'ING WAY!

What about after you were married (I'm assuming since you mentioned daughters)? Did you come home after work and say "Hello Dear, may I kiss you now?"? Peddle your BS somewhere else. None of what I'm talking about is remotely close to creepy or pervy. In fact it's called normal and natural. That's probably why it's so confusing to you.

I'd like to say I'm surprised your this _______ (fill-in the blank with numerous different adjectives), but I'm not.

Was owning slaves in the 1700's illegal? No! Therefore it obviously wasn't met with the same standards then, was it? DUH!!! (Did you misunderstand the part about "whether right or wrong" maybe, or just ignore it to try to make some point?)

Heck, go ask your Father how many times he or his friends called someone or something "gay" as a way of saying they/it was any number of negative things, and if anyone ever screamed homophob at him/them for doing so. Times change. Things become or unbecome acceptable.

Who cares what standards they were held to at the time? My point was that a thing is wrong whether it is accepted at the time or not. If I was in the 1700's, I would still argue against slavery. Regardless of whether people agree with me or not, my logic as to why I don't like it still applies. You are allowed to have your own opinions.

Touching a woman's breast or patting her on the butt is not normal and natural. It's pretty pervy tbh

Well this is one of the dumbest ******* posts ever.

Only creeps "accidentally" brush a breast to see a reaction.

If you are married or otherwise intimate with someone, that's completely different. There's an implied consent to physical affection when you're married to someone.

Lastly, no one is accusing Kavanaugh of just being creepy. He held a woman down, covered her mouth so she couldn't be heard screaming, and tried to rape her.
