I wish there was a 3rd draft formula besides ABAB and ABBA.

I get why the picks at the top need some kind of balance, but when you pick early but not quite early enough to get an elite tier player, but then still have to wait for the end of the 3rd round to pick, it is painful.

I realize its impossible because the drop off line fluctuates drastically from pool to pool, but I still feel like it is a legitimate gripe.

This is why I have come up with a silent auction platform. It takes the scattergories principles and auction principles and has combined them. It allows u the ability to get just about any player if u want him bad enough and enough flexibility to draft a team the way u see fit. I have all the details of said draft, but I have been too busy to take the reins. I will be glad to share the details if someone wants to run such a league.

We are one "cmcafeeky/redbooda wait" until the clock catches up to the draft. Keep in mind that we are ON the clock now, and the times matter. If an owner does not pick by the END of his 30 minute time slot, he can and will be skipped. That owner can make up his pick at any time.

I'm not sure that I should be the poster child for holding up drafts.....
and Im assuming if you go back and look at my lag times - I probably wouldn't be near the worst.

but, If you're needing THAT GUY - I guess id green light being the example.

I'm resilient (I'm a special ed teacher in behavioral unit),
and tough minded (football coach).....
that being said - there will be occasions when I CAN NOT get online during the school day to make a pick
- and am more than okay with being skipped



Personally,
I'm more annoyed with the player list being slowly updated and there being a slew of repicks needed.....
